  • At this point, the fact that Samsung is launching new phones will not surprise anyone. The company has been doing it all year long and we hope it won’t stop anytime soon. This time around Samsung has new entry-level phones for us.

The S6700 is a dual-band HSDPA slider phone ready to offer you a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash, GPS, 120MB of internal memory and microSDHC support.

The C5510 comes with a 2-megapixel camera, a 2.2-inch QVGA display and microSDHC support.

The M2510 is a music-oriented phone with music dedicated keys, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio tuner with RDS, DNSe audio enhancement and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The last in the list is the M2310. It sports a VGA camera, 9MB of internal memory upgradeable up to 8GB via microSD card and quad-band EDGE connectivity.

We have no availability dates just yet and as for prices we can probably assume you’ll get these phones for free with now contracts. Which one did you like best?

  • Seems that Samsung has two more sliders in the oven, the S6700 and C5510, and by the feature set that has been revealed, both the cellphones are going to be recession friendly.  First up is the S6700, a slider that boasts of a 2.4-inch 16M-color QVGA display and 3G/HSDPA support.  Several other goodies are also present including Bluetooth, FM radio, USB and microSD support, and 120MB of onboard memory.  Other than the superior network support, the S6700 also has a 3.2 megapixel shooter, which, although not as good as a 5 or 8 megapixel lens, should still suffice for capturing a few memories with decent quality.  All in all, a decent mid-range

The Samsung C5510 on the hand, is a true low-segment hero.  It features a 2.2-inch 256K-color display, FM radio, 500MB of internal memory which can be further expanded via a microSD slot, and a 2-megapixel camera.

We don’t have an official word on any of the above or pricing, but we are guessing Samsung will out them pretty soon.
