Yep, more Apple Tablet rumors, but these ones seem pretty sure of their credibility. The recent slew of rumors has both a release window and price point for us to ponder.
According to Apple Insider, the Apple Tablet will definitly be shipping sometime in 2010 and will be priced somewhere between the iPhone and Macbook. If we’re talking about the highest capacity iPhone 3GS and the plastic Macbook, we’re looking a range of $299 to $999 which is somewhat surprsing considering it is Apple.
Anyways, take this how you will but with all the rumors circulating there has to be some touchscreen toutin’ device that the guys over at Apple have been working on.

Verizon customers looking to get their hands on the Palm Pre in 6 months, like rumors suggested, are sure to be discouraged. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse took the stage at a press event and when informed of the rumors regarding Sprint’s Pre exclusivity running out in 6 months he responded with:
They need to check their facts. That just is not the case. Both Palm and Sprint have agreed not to discuss the length of the exclusivity deal. But I can tell you it’s not six months.
While this statement effectively squashes rumors of the Pre coming to Verizon in 6 months, the phone is inevitably bound to show up on the carrier sooner or later; when remains the question.

Don’t say you were not warned about the new iPhone rumors. As we get closer to June more things related to the new handset will emerge. Right now we hear that the new iPhone will have support for 802.11n wireless connections. It looks like the OS 3.0 beta firmware includes support for low-powered 802.11n chip for the third-generation iPod touch which should automatically mean that the new iPhone version will also get it. Hopefully the battery will be also upgraded in order to deal with all those new features. On the other hand, if this is just a rumor, we won’t need that great a battery, will we?

It seems like Research In Motion is going full speed with their touch screen phone. Their latest phone, the BlackBerry Storm, is only about a week old, and news have been pouring out about a possible follow-up to the handset.
The Boy Genius blog reported Friday that RIM is preparing a 3G GSM version of the touch-screen BlackBerry Storm. Currently, the Storm, which was released last week for Verizon Wireless’ network, only works on CDMA-based 3G, or third-generation, networks. But a day after, it reported that RIM is making an HSDPA version of the phone, which means that it could operate on AT&T in the U.S. and Rogers Communications in Canada. The GSM version of the phone, which is being called the BlackBerry 9900 Pluto, is expected to look a lot like the current BlackBerry Storm.
There’s no word on an exact launch date, but The Boy Genius blog said it expects RIM to announce the phone at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium in May.

According to the latest rumors circulating, Sony Ericsson will soon unveil two new low-end mobile phones — the T270 and the T280. The two handsets are supposedly identical except T280 will have a built-in camera while T270 won’t. Both phones will sport 128×160 display, Bluetooth, FM radio and GPRS. Sources say that they will be similar in design with the T250 although they’ll have two colors-in-one like the T650. They will be less than 144mm in thickness and one would be available in cream and white and the other in silver and black. We surmise we’ll be seeing more details of the handsets soon enough. ‘Til then, stay tuned.

It feels like it wasn’t long ago when the Nokia N95 was released. I remember the thrill Nokia fans were emanating and it was infectious. But just like every other digital good, the Nokia N95 would be replaced as its company’s most-prized device. Just recently, supposed pictures of the Nokia N96 were leaked in the Internet. It seems Nokia drew parallels in design with the N81. It’s also clear that from the pics, this model has a 5-megapixel camera. They’re sure damn convincing, if you ask me. But hey, take everything you see on the Internet with a grain of salt, okay? So what do you think — truth or hoax?
More pictures after the jump.

There’s still no confirmation if a 3G version of the iPhone will hit Europe.
