The business and industrial gets another big boost as far as communication options as Intermec launches two new rugged 3G Wireless WAN mobile computers in the CN50 and CN4. Both are lightweight and ideal mobile computing solutions for industries that cover a lot of field work thereby covering the area of durability which is something that holds back businesses from investing in such gadgets.

“The CN50 is the smallest and most technologically advanced rugged mobile computer on the market today,” said Héctor Calva, chief information officer of Coca-Cola Femsa. “As an organization that accounts for almost ten percent of Coca-Cola’s global sales, our mobile workers need a rugged mobile computer that will make their workday more efficient and enhance the customer experience. The capabilities of the CN50 will revolutionize our delivery operations and enable us to increase the amount of sales transactions we complete.”

The addition of these two new rugged mobile devices are sure to be welcomed in the business field. Today, communication is pretty much important for productivity and with the CN50 and CN4, these areas of consideration are sure to be covered.

Both products will be available for volume shipment in the third quarter of CY 2009.
