All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

Windows Mobile 6.5 has only just made its official debut on October 6th and already the internet is a buzz over the release date of Windows Mobile 7.

As you can see from the above leaked slide, Windows Mobile 7 is supposedly set for an RTM release date of spring 2010.

As always, this is just a rumor until Microsoft makes an official announcement.

If you’re a TechNet or MSDN subscriber, there’s some news for you — Microsoft has recently announced that the Windows 7 RTM has been made avaiable for download to subscribers of such services. For TechNet subscribers head here to get the download, and MSDN subscribers, here.

As for the rest of us, we’ll have to wait until October 22nd to get our hands on the 10,000 6 different versions of Windows 7.

Good news PC lovers, Microsoft is ready to send Windows 7 to manufacturers. Windows 7 will be officially announced at the Worldwide Partner Conference this week but apparently the RTM OS is already available. Just look for build 7600 if you happen to know your way around downloading stuff off the Internet. As you can see from the screenshot above, at least someone has gotten their hands on the final RTM build so you could be next. Not that we’re encouraging you to download and use illegal software or anything like that!

All we need to do know is to patiently wait for manufacturers to announce the first Windows 7 laptops and desktops. Anyone excited to buy a new Windows 7 PC?
