All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

We already have a pretty good idea about how much the new Motorola phone will cost. T-Mobile’s pricing has been revealed ahead of time on the carrier’s official website and it has been noticed well before the company fixed the unexpected leak. The phone isn’t available on Tmo’s site now but we have a new leak. Thanks to an internal PowerPoint presentation, now we do know that the Cliq is coming in October. So if you’re interested in some MOTOBLUR action then make sure you have enough cash by next month to get your first Motorola phone.

A leaked document from T-Mobile U.S. has revealed the carrier’s Android plans for the rest of the year. Various phones running on Google’s OS are mentioned so you’ll have a tough time to choose yours. The HTC G2 is coming this summer, then the G1 is also going to be probably discontinued after the back to school season this year. Other codenames found in the document are the “G1 v2″ and the “Bigfoot” and the handset should arrive this fall. We’re probably talking about a Helio Ocean 2 which still needs confirmation. Next up is a Samsung Android phone which will be probably called the “Houdini”. While we wait for more specs and some prices you will have plenty of time to choose yours. What is it going to be?

HTC Set to Unveil nVidia Handsets

Nvidia is a name that we can easily associate with graphics cards but unknown to many, it may be a new name in the mobile phone market. And through HTC, the latest leak regarding the company’s roadmap for 2009 shows a little more pieces of information, while also confirming some of the devices that were suggested to be in the works at the moment.

Among them, one of the most interesting handsets that can be spotted is the SuperStar, an nVidia-powered one, built around the nVidia AP16 and featuring 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM. In addition, the product also includes a whopping 3.7-inch WVGA display, with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, which should go very well with the 600MHz chipset it sports inside.

However, the handset isn’t expected to come to the surface anytime soon, given the fact that it should be running under Windows Mobile 6.5, which we all know is due for release sometime in the second half of the year.

Other products that should come from the Taiwanese company this year include the HTC Chief and HTC Captain, both handsets powered by WM 6.1, including a Qualcomm chipset and showing off a 2.4-inch display. Hopefully, the mobile phone maker will confirm at least some of the devices spotted here, and we hope that SuperStar and Star are among them.
