Sprint is another carrier ready to sell the HTC Touch Pro2. The phone will be available at an undisclosed time in the future as the HTC Rhodium. Sprint hasn’t fully announced it but as always, a human error made it possible for all mortal to know the carrier plans to launch it. The Rhodium has been spotted in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile application as a “compatible phone” which will offer you full audio and video content. All we need now are some arrival dates and prices.

HTC Rhodium Goes to the FCC

HTC is ready to launch the Touch Pro2 as the phone has finally hit the FCC. Just in case you are wondering the HTC Rhodium which you’ll find at the FCC is the Touch Pro2. And the Rhodium might be called the Wing II when T-Mobile will launch it soon. The release date hasn’t been revealed yet and there aren’t any prices announced yet. Look for RHOD100 if you want to see the progress of the phone with the FCC and we’ll be keeping tabs on the Touch Pro2 since it’s going to be one of the first smartphones out there capable of running Windows Mobile 6.5.

  • Just a few hours ago we discovered HTC’s lineup for the year and we already have rumors about the phones. T-Mobile is the first company to have launched an Android handset and the carrier has announced its intention of launching another one, the G2. Hence our interest in its association with HTC.

T-Mobile USA will get that HTC Rhodium and release it as the Wing II. It was time the Wing had a successor, don’t you think? And most importantly, the G2 seems to be the Sapphire. We can only enjoy pictures for now as we don’t have any leaked specs yet.
