30 Apr 09 Windows Apps Can Now Be Accessed via the iPhone

Thanks to a software, any running windows application can be remotely controlled via WiFi or 3G connection with the use of an iPhone. Gooer Corp., a leading service provider of Remote Desktop solutions, announced Windows applications support for the iPhone.

By using the Remote Desktop channel, Gooer developed remote application technology. Instead of showing the user’s whole desktop, it can show only the application window. With this technology, Gooer enables running any Windows application on iPhone as if it were running locally.

For customers, they can directly use this iPhone software to access EMR, CRM, ERP or any other enterprise software located on their office PC. Compared to the remote desktop, it is much more convenient because the customer only need handle one application window now.

For software companies, they can use this technology to deliver their software to iPhone users in just minutes. The real program is running on a Windows 2003 server, but for the customer, it looks like a local iPhone application. Gooer also provides customization service to make the end users hardly realize it is a remote application.
