If you are one of U.S. Cellular’s subscribers then we have a surprise for you. It looks like U.S. Cellular has leaked a new rebate sheet (check the picture) and you’ll be able to purchase your favorite handset for a cheaper price soon. The list includes some really hot phones like HTC’s Touch Pro2 and Snap, the BlackBerry Tour, Motorola’s W845 and Crush and LG’s UX310 and UX700. The phones will be available just in time for the holidays but we have no specific dates for each of the phones listed above. What will you pick?

The Vaio P might stand out from all the other netbooks but it’s darn too expensive for a netbook. That’s why Verizon decided to offer a $200 mail-in-rebate for all its customers opting for its 3G service. If you need an ultra-portable computer then you’re probably on the move a lot. A little 3G Internet connection would certainly come in handy for those times when there’s no free WiFi around. You will need to sign a two-year agreement to get the Vaio P for a subsidized price.

The Storm is not the only hot thing happening at Verizon. The largest U.S. carrier, counting Alltel subscribers too, has big plans for the following period. During 11/16/08 through 1/31/09 we’re going to see lots of Verizon handsets at discount prices.
- LG VX8360 (clamshell with EV-DO, 1.3MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSD)
- LG XV9600 (basically a Dare with a detachable QWERTY keyboard and a game-pad)
- Nokia 2605 Mirage (small clamshell with 1xRTT, VGA Camera, and Bluetooth)
- Nokia 7205 Intrigue (small clamshell with 1x/EV-DO, 2MP Camera, Bluetooth)
- Samsung Renown (clamshell with CDMA and Quad-band GSM, similar to the Gleam)
- Samsung Saga i770
- Samsung Omnia
- HTC Touch Pro/XV6850
- USB760 (super small USB EV-DO Rev A “micro” Modem)
- Compass 597 (USB modem with aGPS)
- CDM8950/CDM8975 (unknown?)
Depending on what handset you choose you will save from $50 to $70 but you will probably have to sign a new contract. What do you think? Would you get any of these handsets or will you go for the Storm instead?
