For the record, The Shack is really meant to carry the new brand or name of Radio Shack. And with the new name looks like a new product and guess what the first device is, the iPhone. As the iPhone continues its dominance in new resellers, the Shack has been announced to be on the roster. The rollout of the iPhones is expected to commence by 2010 although prices have not yet been disclosed.

For some reason Radio Shack is going through some rebranding process. The company shall not be known as Radio Shack anymore. Instead we’ll have to call it The Shack. Well actually Radio Shack will not change its name but only the brand image. But everyone that already got used to going to Radio Shack stores for various gadgets will keep calling it Radio Shack long after the brand change. What’s next? Could Best Buy be called The Buy? Or Circuit City, The City?

You have about three weeks to get ready to buy your first Palm Pre. Sprint is also thoroughly preparing for the first sales. The carrier plans special store hours for the first two days. Sprint’s stores will close early at 4:00PM on Friday, June 5 and it will open early in the morning on Saturday, June 6, at 8:00AM. As we have told you earlier today other locations like Radio Shack, Best Buy and Walmart will also sell the Pre soon after the official launch. What about you? Do you know where you’re going to wait in the line for the Pre?
