One thing about iPhones is that you want to dress it up to make them standout and here is one accessory that is bound to capture your fancy. Digital Lifestyle Outfitters has announced the launch of their latest accessory for the Apple iPhone. They are now offering TransDock micro which is a FM transmitter and charger for the iPhone. It is being sold for USD 70.

The device works inside a car drawing power from a cigarette lighter jack. It can then tune into any open FM radio frequency and that audio can be listened on the iPhone. The company said that the device comes loaded with their IntelliTune technology which scans the unused FM frequencies and save them for use.

The device plugs into the iPhone and also works as a charging unit.

LG 150 Phones Recalled

A voluntary recall was announced by LG Electronics Canada Inc., on the LG 150. It seems that the LG 150 mobile phone is no longer certified as meeting the Radio Standards Specifications 102 (RSS 102), Radio Frequency Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus and has thus becomes a primary concern for the health of people carrying this phone.

Health Canada is of the opinion that the past and current use of the LG 150 should not pose immediate or long-term health concerns.

Here is the official announcement made by LG Electronics Canada Inc.:

“LG has mobilized quickly in response to these findings on behalf of our customers,” says Mr. William Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Canada. “LG’s preliminary testing indicates that only LG 150 phones from specific production runs may be affected by this issue. LG is therefore recommending that all LG 150 phones manufactured within such production runs be returned in accordance with the guidelines set out below. LG is continuing to test the LG 150 phones. However, because customer satisfaction and safety continue to be our primary commitment, we are taking a proactive approach and working in cooperation with our carriers to recall all LG 150 phones in Canada.”
