  • Back in June we were met with a leaked screen shot suggesting that Samsung’s Reclaim would be coming to Sprint at some point in the future. Today, however, Samsung has come forth to announce that the Reclaim is now available on Sprint for $49.99 after a 2-year contract and mail-in rebates.

The main selling point of the phone is the fact that it is 80% recyclable but it’s slide out QWERTY keyboard, 2.3″ display, microSD slot and 2MP camera make it a worthy competitor to similary priced phones.

Just as we had learned at the end of the July, T-Mobile has put HTC’s Touch Pro2 handset up for sale for $349.99 with a 2 year contract.

This device features a Qualcomm 528MHz processor, 3.6-inch touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.2MP camera with auto focus, GPS, WiFI, a microSDHC slot and Windows Mobile 6.1 with TouchFLO 3D.

While the Touch Pro2’s features make it a very capable handset, it’s $349.99 price tag could potentially turn some consumers away.

Back in May, Boost Mobile let us know that they would be picking up the QWERTY touting Motorola i465 Clutch. It’s nothing special but for those looking for a perfect prepaid texting handset, the i465 isn’t a bad choice.

Well today, more than 2 months after said phone dropped, Boost has announced that the i465 will begin shipping next Tuesday with a new black paintjob (or Graphite if you want to be official about it).

In terms of pricing, you’re looking at $129.99 for the Motorola i465 Clutch, but it’s without a contract, so it makes sense.

With a name like this, we are guessing Cricket won’t have much difficulty finding a few adopters on its network.  The TXTM8, which looks eerily similar to the A45 Murano if it had round edges and a different softkey layout, is a no-frills handset that sports a full QWERTY keypad, stereo Bluetooth, and a rudimentary 1.3 megapixel camera, and tri-band CDMA support.  There is also a microSD slot thrown in to load all your favorites adding up to 4GB, which can be played using the onboard music player.   Available now on Cricket’s website for just $139.99 after an instant $20 web discount.
