KDDI 007 Mobile Phone

If you loved the last James Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace” then you simply must have this phone. The KDDI 007 comes with an artistically embedded insignia of the 007 logo as well as the title of the movie itself. The phone is said to be available only in Japan but you know that this is bound to find its way into other territories somehow.

KDDI will release the limiited edition W63S cell phone with a special 007 Quantum of Solace design from AU. The handset is priced at €110 with a contract.

  • James Bond and gadgets is a great combination, in case you don’t know there already exists a Sony Ericsson C902 Cybershot. More recently, Sony decided to work in collaboration with the the popular 007 by the second time, and came up with the Quantum of Solace laptop.

    The computer is similar to the Sony Vaio Z series but with some special stuff, like the 007 logo placed near the keyboard, and a limited production of 700 units. The features are normal for Vaio Z series, it has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM and a 13.3-inch display screen.

    Other extras include Motion Eye camera, a blu-ray drive, 3G connectivity, and the option to pick from a 128GB SSD drive or a 320GB hard-drive.

  • Quantum has a new Video Touch PMP which will get you digital TV and GPS. It is based on a Siano DVB-H receiver and it will get you up to 30 channels of mobile TV. As for the GPS part, it will get you GPS navigation, in-car assistance, traffic and weather updates. Movies, pictures and MP3 can also be used on it.

    The device has a Siano SMS8021 chip antenna which will get you great reception in rural areas or when moving. As for control, there’s a button and a touch interface. No release dates or pricing details are available yet but when they will release it you will get it in different versions sporting extra 3G, HSDPA or WWAN connectivities.
