President-elect Barack Obama is going to choose a person to manage the transition at the FCC and this man might be former lobbyist and FCC Commissioner, Henry River. One major element of his agenda will be diversity or how to help minorities when it comes to telecommunications and media. That should be done no matter who’s president wouldn’t you say?
Besides applying those diversity principles in everything related to technology we’re hoping that the FCC will approve a whole lot of diverse mobile phones during the whole Obama presidency.

Here’s an application for the iPhone we don’t get to see everyday. It’s Obama ‘08 which should probably convince you to give him an oval office in a certain White House. It already get a point for ingenuity and marketing abilities. The team behind the man which runs for President of the USA is certainly thinking outside the box. We’re counting on McCain’s guys to come up with something similar and fast. The elections are getting closer and closer.
With Obama ‘08 will sort your contacts by state and encourages you to convince them to vote for Obama. The app will find local Obama events, highlights and newsreel. And sure there’s a donate button for the campaign. I’d be surprised if there wasn’t one. The application comes free from the App Store. I’m curios if it will be upgraded to a future version in 2012.
