You already know that T-Mo is going to launch the BlackBerry Curve 8520. What you don’t know is that RIM and T-Mobile are preparing extensively for the launch. BlackBerry Night at the Movies is a series of 51 parties which will start on July 20 and continue for about two weeks. The events are meant to celebrate the launch of the Curve 8520.
The parties will include a movie screening, contests, prizes and more surprises. The Gemini, that’s how we like to call the 8520, will be also unveiled at each party.
Can we expect T-Mobile to launch the Gemini during these Night at the Movies parties? Or will the phone be available immediately after?

The Parrot Party, a wireless speaker system for your mobile phone or laptop supporting Bluetooth technology, just gained the approval from the FCC. With this, you can conveniently place speakers in your hall while streaming music from your phone. The Parrot Party is compatible with devices that support the Bluetooth A2DP (advanced audio distribution profile). Packaging includes a carry case, wrist strap, user guide and adapter.
Compact and lightweight - just 620 grams - the wide-band speakers are driven by a class D amplifier. LEDs indicate the status of Bluetooth and audio effects. The Parrot Party has different modes of operation as well: normal, pairing, low power and low battery. Parrot claims a playback time of up to 4 hours on this device.
Sadly, it is a class-2 Bluetooth device, meaning the range is limited to 10 meters or 33 feet. Priced at £79.37 (approx US $159).
