The iPhone’s official Chinese debut may not be far off as recent reports suggest that China Unicom has ordered 5 million devices from Apple to the tune of 10 billion yuan (around $1.46 billion). This deal came to life after Apple and China Unicom reportedly worked out a deal to disable the phone’s WiFi making it legal to sell in China.
There’s no word on when China Unicom will actually make the iPhone available for purchase but our sources seem to be sure that it will be sometime in September.

You may ask, what makes this netbook better than the rest, well how about the fact that it has been known to run Mac OS X incredibly well?

If a recent camera order made by Apple is anything to go by, the next generation of iPod touches and iPod Nanos may very well be getting their own digital camera a la the iPhone.
As the rumor goes, Apple placed an order for a “massive number of camera modules of the type that they include in the iPhone”. Furthermore, they are cheap modules, around $10, which means they are almost exactly like the iPhone’s.
If/when Apple adds these cameras to their iPod lineup, what will happen to the low end digital camera market? Will they really cause that big of an upset? Only time will tell.
