We are stumped. We just can’t decide if this is the OmniaPRO with the model number B7610 or a whole new device called the Houdini. The design seems similar except for the silver smiley at the bottom of the device housing the send/end buttons, but is it really the OmniaPRO? And a little bit of digging reminds us that there was indeed a Houdini listed on T-Mobile’s leaked roadmap, but wasn’t that supposed to be an Android smartphone, when clearly the Houdini here is showing off Windows Mobile 6.1? OmniaPRO or the Houdini, this device is definitely conjuring up a lot more questions than the great magician himself and the specs on this seem like a dream too. The Houdini will run on a 800MHz CPU with HSDPA capable of speeds up to 7.2Mbps, a 3.5 inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen with TouchWiz UI, GPS, WiFi, 500MB of onboard memory with 32GB microSD support, four-row slide-out QWERTY, FM radio with RDS, a 5mpx lens with power flash, 3.5mm headphone jack, and DivX/DNSe/TV-out support humming along nicely on a 1500 mAh battery. An official announcement could straighten the whole thing out but seeing that it hasn’t happened yet, you might as well eyeball the video above till then.

Windows Mobile 6.5 devices are slated to hit store shelves early next month and it seems that Samsung’s next-gen OmniaPRO will be their debut WinMo 6.5 device. However, this does not mean previous generation Omnias, namely the OmniaPRO B7610, B7320 and Omnia II, in addition to soon to be released OmniaLite, will be left in the dust.
All of the above mentioned phones will in fact be getting their operating systems updated to Windows Mobile 6.5 when the OmniaPRO B7330 hits store shelves early next month.

It looks like those people saying that the B7610 Louvre phone was going to be called Omnia Pro were almost right. Samsung unveiled today two OmniaPRO phones, the B7320 and the B7610 formerly known as the Louvre.
The B7610 will offer you a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard and an impressive AMOLED touchscreen. Other important features are the 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA connectivity, AGPS, WiFi and Opera 9.5 browser. These features will make the phone an important asset both to your personal and professional life. Working on the go or looking for some mobile entertainment? The Louvre will deliver in both cases.
We’re expecting the B7610 to come with Windows Mobile 6.1 on board which should be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 and we’re waiting for a carrier to pick it up.
What would you choose between the Samsung OmniaPRO B7610 and the HTC Touch Pro2? They are similar phones with similar features. What manufacturer do you love most?

Samsung finally unpacked today a bunch of phones. We can’t say we were not expecting some of the models like the Omnia II or the Louvre but we were also pleasantly surprised with a few handsets. The OmniaPRO line has been unveiled today and Omnia lovers will be able to choose from four new Omnia phones. One of them is the OmniaPRO B7320.
The phone brings you a much needed QWERTY keypad which will help you send fast emails and text messages. It comes with features like corporate push email support, social networking (Facebook, MySpace), instant messaging (MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo Chat), a 3-megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, WiFi and Windows Mobile 6.1 which will be upgraded later to Windows Mobile 6.5. We have no prices and availability dates for the B7320 just yet so we’ll have to wait and see which carrier is going to pick it up!
If you liked the Jack then you’ll love the B7320. I wonder if BlackBerry owners will drop their current Berry for this Samsung handset. What do you say?
