According to some recent rumor Microsoft will apparently be launching the new Zune player on September 8. The Zune HD will come in two versions, 16GB and 32GB and it will pack a powerful Tegra processor and an OLED screen. We knew the Tegra chipset bit and we were expecting the Zune HD to arrive in two versions. The OLED screen is pretty much logical too so now we only need pricing. Are the new Zune HD models be more expensive or cheaper than the current iPod touch? Anyone getting a Zune HD this fall?

The concept phone here is designed by Tryi Yeh and it’s called the Magnet Liteon Phone. As you can see it’s made out of two parts which are held together by a magnet. Other features include solar panel cells for getting all that required energy and an impressive OLED screen. The screen can be positioned as you like in order to take advantage of the multiple features of the phone. Simply detach it and reattach at as you see fit. Just don’t forget it anywhere!
The Magnet Liteon Phone is just a concept for now and it might never find its way to consumers but some of the ideas here could definitely be used in the cell phones of the future.

The last we heard of Nokia’s 8MP camera touting N86 was back in February when we first got wind of it. Well, up until now there was some speculation regarding whether or not the phone would ever hit the States.
Luckily, the above image was found in the FCC’s datebase confirming that the phone is at least in its early stages of hitting North American shelves.
With so many great phones on their way out the N86’s 8MP camera, OLED display and dual-sliding action is sure to have it standing out from the rest.

For those of you following the OLED Walkman from Sony we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the touchscreen Walkman is available from Amazon. The bad news is that it’s coming only from Amazon UK for the moment.

The device in the picture is a Mozilla open source smartphone. Or at least a prototype. Did Mozilla realize that the mobile market is up for grabs? Will it succeed with such a project? Anyone that wants to contribute to the project is welcome to share their thoughts on the new blog Billy May from Yanko Design has launched for the phone. The picture here shows the first prototype which looks like a BlackBerry with OLED keys able to morph depending on the task at hand.

The only thing we do know so far is the fact that Universal Display Corporation will make this 4 inch OLED device for the military and it will be set on a metal foil and offer those military guys a crisp picture and wide viewing angle. Is UDC going to make it for the general public? When? How much will one cost?

Have you ever wanted one of those really nice looking OLED TVs that you can bring with you wherever you go? Well, look no more as Sony has just announced an 11″ flatscreen OLED display that is, what else, battery powered.
Practical uses for this device? Well, we suppose you can take it camping if you just can’t leave your Blu-Ray movies behind, but then again it is wall mountable. So perhaps you can mount it near your pool where there is no power outlet?
Wherever you decide to use this TV, it probably won’t be for cheap. Sony hasn’t even talked about pricing or avaiability yet but there is speculation that this thing will go for a pretty penny.
