Nokia N900 on Amazon.com for $480

If you’re looking to purchase the Nokia N900 but have been a bit uneasy about its $649 price tag you’ll be happy to know that the device has dropped to $479.99 on Amazon.com after a $50 mail-in rebate.

For close to 5 bills you will be getting the Maemo powered Nokia N900 with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera and an unknown release date.

At least it’s unlocked, right?

  • If you were dying to know how Nokia’s N900 handled the web you can stop because a video has hit the web showing off the handset’s web browser.

This web browser is based on work done by Mozilla and I have to say it handles the web quite will with snappy response times, full Flash support and a control scheme similar to one we’ve all come to know and love with Apple’s iPhone.

Anyways, watch the video and let us know what you think of it in the comments.
