Pure-Fi Anywhere

After the announcement of the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream bedroom music system for the iPod comes another announcement from Logitech: the new Pure-Fi Anywhere music system, another accessory featuring compact speakers in a portable form factor. The Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers come with a rechargeable battery and a helpful battery indicator. Now with an improved traveling case and redesigned remote control, Logitech claims a 10-hour life on a fully charged battery.

When the iPod is connected to the Universal Dock connector, the Pure-Fi Anywhere continues to play music while charging the iPod battery. The new travel case holds the speakers, a power adapter and the remote. There’s also space for an iPod nano, if you like. The power adapter has also undergone a redesign, and fits snugly into the iPod dock.

Measuring 3.6″ x 13.2″ x 1.5″, it weighs in at just 1.6 pounds, but still manages to deliver quality music through the 2-inch Max-X high excursion drivers with neodymium magnets. To minimize distortion, there’s also 3-inch pressure drivers.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere portable speaker system for the iPod will hit the stores in the US and Europe beginning September, and carries a price tag of US $149.99.

Otto Digital Gaming Headset

Digital Gaming Headset

Otto unveiled the new Digital Gaming Headset, a high-quality, durable and comfortable headset targeted at PC gamers. Allowing the gamer to immerse into the game and hearing every detail as well as communicating clearly with other players, the manufacturer claims exceptional sound and voice quality.

The Digital Gaming Headset features a boom microphone with noise-canceling and voice recognition technology, delivering clear conversations. For extended game play, the ear pads are specially designed. The headset, unfortunately, falls short of being a wireless one and needs a USB connectivity with your PC.

The high-quality Neodymium speakers offer quality bass response. Priced at US $49.95, the Digital Gaming Headset is now available from Otto. Full specs in the extended entry.
