Sprint just officially announced yesterday that they were gearing up to launch the Samsung Instinct HD on September 27th for $249.99. Now, considering the fact that it is priced so high when compared to the nature of the device you will most likely never get your hands on it.
Thankfully, a YouTube user was nice enough to give us a full hands on preview of the device showcasing features like the preloaded applications (Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc) and the location of that HD video out port.
Anyways, check out the video and let us know what you think of it in the comments.

From the look of the Samsung B3310, it looks like this phone is specifically made for the ladies. Looking great in bright pink, it has vertical numbers on the side when the QWERTY keyboard is closed. This leaked photo of the Samsung B3310 is perfect for entry level messaging phones in demand and it even accommodates the usual social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Flickr.
There is no word on when this phone will actually hit the market although rumors are flying that it will come out in the middle of September.

We’ve seen leaked photos and specs and even saw it appear on Samsung’s official website, but what we haven’t had is official confirmation from AT&T that the Samsung Solstice was in fact coming.
Today, AT&T and Samsung have come forth to let us know that their low cost Solstice touchscreen is, in fact, hitting North American shelves on August 2nd. Official specs include a TouchWiz UI, Facebook, Myspace and other social networking software preinstalled. In terms of hardware, we’re looking at a 2MP camera and a microSD slot with 16GB of expandable storage.
The price stays the same as previously though at $99 with a 2-year contract.

One of the popular things we see today is the use of Twitter. While many would share links or views, the feature of sharing video is now possible. All of this was made possible via the Twitvid.com app that is now in use, allowing Twitter users to upload and share videos to their heart’s content.
TwitVid.com users can automatically broadcast their videos and tweets to their Facebook, MySpace and YouTube profiles by simply setting their preferences on the TwitVid.com website via the new AutoShare feature.
It looks like Twitter users are going to be busy these days. And thanks to the interface that can be used via the iPhone 3G S, don’t be surprised to see a lot of videos being uploaded and share from here on.
Here is how it works:
You can download the app via this link.

Get the records straight. iPorn and the controversial “The Hottest Girls” app are two different applications. This was the explanation that iPorn developers wanted to make straight. Some people have misconceived the two, assuming that the app was one and the same. iPorn is still on the web despite the Apple announcement that they are banning adult content from the app store.
“It was widely reported that Apple stated that the developers of ‘The Hottest Girls’ iPhone application added x-rated content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed through the iTunes App Store,” stated a representative of iPorn. “In contrast, the makers of the iPorn web application never sought to deceive Apple. Instead iPorn was developed as a web application that can be obtained by users over the age of 18 through their iPhone web browser for free without having to purchase it through Apple’s iTunes App store and bypasses Apple’s ability to censor content from the iPhone.”
So in summary, iPorn is more of an entertainment sate with a saner intent over the pornographic nature that The Hottest Girls carried. iPorn provides its adult users with social networking capabilities similar to those found in YouTube, MySpace and Facebook.

This new iPhone app may well be called the crowd control software, especially if you have a rowdy crowd who just will not listen. The app is the Sound Grenade which incidentally became a hit when it was downloaded over 2 million times.
Sound Grenade from High Gloss Software is one of the most annoying apps that can serve a purpose. It has a very annoying sound that can give anyone a headache if they are not careful. This app became the number one app when it was released at the Android Marketplace.
The brand new Sound Grenade website gives users the opportunity to annoy their friends by sharing the website with them through email, facebook, twitter, bebo or myspace, without having to take the full blast themselves. The Samsung S30 can now be purchased from Sprint at $450 but drops to $130 if the buyer would get it along with a two-year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate. This consumer-oriented smartphone offers a touchscreen, GPS, and wireless broadband.
The original Samsung Instinct was launched last year to be Sprint’s answer to the iPhone, but its marginal web browser hurt its ability to compete against Apple’s smartphone. The new s30 offers an improved web-browsing experience thanks to Opera Mini 4.2.
Sprint has tried to strike a balance between consumer and business functions. This model is able to synchronize with a Microsoft Exchange server for corporate email and calendar data, but also includes the popular games “Guitar Hero - World Tour” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader,” access to Sprint TV and Sprint Music, and connections to social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube.
Samsung built multimedia support into this device, including an MP3 and video player and a microSD card slot for storing up to 16 GB of songs and movies. A 2.0 MPx camera with video support is also included.

When it comes to logging on to social networking sites like Facebook, subscribers just seem to want to log on and showcase images and some excerpts according to them. When they are away from their PC, the nearest device to use is the mobile phone on a limited capacity. But not anymore!
GoTV Networks, Inc., the industry’s largest mobile media network, today announced the launch of LiveFromYou, a new personal media application for mobile phones and social networks.

LiveFromYou curates and organizes media, whether it is currently present on the user’s social network page or ready to upload from a collection stored on a desktop PC, digital camera or mobile phone. Media is automatically presented in chronological order, either individually or grouped in user-defined albums on the innovative LiveFromYou timeline. When geo-code data is present, the media items or albums are also viewable on a map.

News about the T-Mobile G1 that runs Google Android operating system are pretty hot, in case you missed them check out the posts made today about the same subject: Virtual Keyboard in the horizon? Usable Without Navigation?
Another story related to cellphone is the new application made by MySpace, which will be released later this week and G1 owners will be able to download it on the Android Market. This is an expected move by MySpace, because they already have mobile platforms on other devices, like the Sidekick, and I bet many more will come in the near future.

More and more mobile carriers want in on music events and music deals. Verizon has just released the V Cast with Rhapsody which seems to be a pretty clear anti iTunes move. Now it appears that Vodafone wants to work with MySpace to offer a social networking and music kind of application for mobiles.
This right here is an association I wouldn’t have foreseen. But Vodafone has apparently signed an agreement with MySpace to offer the Vodafone Music Reporter, “online global interactive platform” which will let Vodafone customers to share photos videos and commentary on Vodafone Music Unlimited events. The service will be available in Europe for now, in countries like Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
So it’s nothing like the V Cast or iTunes. It’s something totally different. Imagine being at a concert this summer and having your mobile video picked up and broadcast to other mobile users of the Vodafone Music Reporter. And such a service will certainly not come free. We don’t know prices of an eventual release date yet but we will send them your way once they get leaked.

T-Mobile USA, Danger and MySpace announced a new, integrated MySpace Mobile experience for those with the T-Mobile Sidekick. Tailored specifically for the Sidekick, it lets you control over your MySpace right from the device. The MySpace Mobile software is integrated into the T-Mobile Sidekick, and features a familiar UI experience as well. Navigation on the Sidekick’s screen is easy, offering quick access to new messages, friend requests and comments from the home screen. For other options, the user can navigate the four sections of the application: Home, MyMail, Blog and Search.
The Sidekick’s directional pad helps you jump from each activity to another without having to wait for the page to load. With real-time updates, you can edit your MySpace profile (how often do you update yours, by the way?), upload photos directly to MySpace and even full MySpace messaging. Push content and notifications are done through the Danger service.
MySpace Mobile for T-Mobile Sidekick is now available for download.
