Here is an app worth getting. Particularly made for the people who love to create music, Retronyms presents the DopplerPad which virtually transform you iPhone or iPod Touch into a virtual keyboard or synthesizer to allow you to create your own tune/s with a simple touch and record interface.

Layer sounds indefinitely, adjust tempo and mix those beats as you wish. There are 37 seven instruments you can use to design melodies along with some bass, percussion and other sound effects as you deem necessary.

DopplerPad’s interface imitates the standard DJ setup of a mixer with turntables on either side, but replaces the turntables with music-producing touchpads. The app launches to the mixer, where the user can access the two touchpads, playback controls, a crossfader and a loop bank that stores up to 14 loops.

The DopperPad from Retronym is now available at the App store for $9.99. Check out the video.

ToneTuner for iPhones

Bands and instrument playing artists are going to love this new app for the iPhone. The need to make sure that your guitar or any stringed instrument that needs tuning just got a big lift as the ToneTuner v1.1 for the iPhone can assist you.

ToneTune is a multiple tuning fork that helps you tune the strings on your stringed instrument to the correct pitch by ear without searching through hard-to-find books or the web. Simply select your instrument and tuning, and tap the graphic to get the right pitch for each string. It can even play all the notes in sequence, as many times as you like.

Musicians now for a fact that they have to make sure that their instruments are in sync. Especially for the frequently performing music artists, having the iPhone as a device to make sure you properly tune it will definitely make a difference.
