The Solar Cell USB Sun Drive

It may look like an over-priced flash drive at $23 but you have to give technology some allowance in making it happen. This solar cell USB key called the Sun Drive comes in various capacities (2.1G, 2.2G, 2.3G and 2.4G). As you would guess, it solicits its power from the sun (solar power) which should become an ideal alternative for mobile phone power (100 minutes of talk time) or as a power source for MP3 players (35 hours). It may seem bulky but this is because of the solar cell and the battery. Overall, this is should be a handy gadget, especially for the ones who have all kinds of gadgets on the go.

iPod DJ Mixer

We are aware that the iPod is a great device for delivering the usual tunes of our choice. However, for the people who want to create unique mixes and extended tunes, here is a device that should come in handy. The only thing is you will need not one but two iPod (Touch or Nano) to make it work. Random MP3 players may also work and it really depends if the dock would support them.

Though not stated, the iPhone may work as well. The iPod DJ Mixer includes an AC adapter and a set of headphones. The gadget costs $120.

    With all the talk about how we should wisen up when it comes to turning to proper charging for our batteries for use in gadgets, alternative manual chargers for mobile phones and MP3 players are being introduced one by one.

    The latest manual charger that does not make use of electricity is the Super Battery which can be charged by cranking it up.

    Any hand crank device always takes a little while, if you crank it for two minutes, that will give you six minutes of talk time on your phone. If you charge the battery up completely by plugging it in, it’ll give you four hours of talk time on your phone or five hours on your iPod.

    Samsung today announced two new portable devices called the Samsung S2 ‘Pebble’ MP3 Player and Samsung S3 Slim Portable Media Player. The players have been developed to fit comfortabley in your hands, they are also offered in many different colors (black, white, red, green and purple) and are the perfect fasion statement for on-the-go entertainment. The main feature in the product is Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound engine 2.0 (DNSe) technology which provides High-Quality acoustics that are optimized for playback through a set of earphones.
