  • The movie is a long time gone, but that hasn’t stopped Paramount Digital Entertainment from creating a game to cater Top Gun fans who own iPhones/iPods Touch.  This time, the players will be trained by none other than Maverick and Iceman themselves and they will aid in players climbing up the rank ladder at the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School.  Just like in the movie, players get to take F-22 Raptors and B-2 Spirit stealth bombers out for a spin or go ballistic with dogfights against MiGs in the story mode with 10 missions that feature a variety of scenarios including the ocean, desert, cities, and canyons during day and night.  Players can also cruise the skies while grooving to the movie’s soundtrack from Berlin.

The Top Gun game for iPhone/iPod Touch is available now on the AppStore for an inaugural price of $1.99, so hurry up and download yours before the price shoots up to $3.99.

You can get a black or white 8GB iPod Nano for $269 or a black or white 80GB Classic iPod for $329. Every model has images from the movie on the case so enjoy them. Hopefully they won’t wear off as time passes by. And don’t forget to believe!

Wow that title is so long I shouldn’t give you any more explanations. However the James Bond C902 Cybershot from Sony Ericsson deserves some attention. After all we are talking about James Bond here.

The phone is a limited edition Titanium silver handset meant to promote the latest Bond movie, the “Quantum of Solace”. You get special colors, Bond wallpapers and screen savers and a spy game demo. Other than that the C902 is exactly the same phone we already know. The special edition will be released sometime in Q4 2008, possibly around the official release of the movie. There aren’t any official pictures yet, but when we have them you’ll get them too!

Although we all love those awesome GSM devices from Nokia, the Finnish giant tends to give the CDMA market a stepmotherly treatment. But it looks like a new hero is in town to save the day, from Gotham City no less. Like the Batman’s utility belt, the Nokia 6205 Dark Knight Edition has some artillery of its own with a 1.3 megapixel camera, VZ Navigation, VCast Music&Video facilitated by EVDO, and Bluetooth. Not much for a Batman-themed handset, but some exclusive content from “The Dark Knight” movie might suffice for some.

So Batman fans, hold your horses until June 15th when it will be available online exclusively for $119.99 for a two-year contract before rebate from Verizon.
