Palm Pre Mojo SDK gets leaked

If you’re looking to get a leg up on the competition before Palm officially releases their App Catalog SDK kit to the public, you’re in luck. The pirates are at it again as it was recently discovered that the Palm Pre Mojo SDK has been leaked ono torrent sites everywhere.

Of course, Palm isn’t going to let rogue developers put their creations onto the App Catalog but at least you can get some practice in.

While Palm hasn’t said anything about this leak, chances are they won’t be pleased, so be sure to download at your own risk.

If Palm wants to make the most of the Pre and its webOS then it should make sure those interested developers will be ready to unleash their creativity on the webOS platform as soon as possible. With the high standards Apple has set in the mobile application business, most customers choosing a smartphone will want lots of available applications.

Palm is going to expand its Mojo SDK early access program and more developers will be accepted soon. By more we mean thousands of new devs getting access in the following weeks. The SDK will be however released for the public only later this summer. We’ve already seen that early Pre buyers have already download 700,000 apps and we’re counting on that number to increase significantly over the next couple of months.
