For the people who are using chargers for their phones, you can bet that a large number of them are using second class or replacement chargers rather than the genuine Nokia chargers. And while this does become a cost-friendly alternative, safety and quality are bound to be up for criticism. Nokia takes the initiative to offer a charger exchange program to protect consumers by providing them free authentic charger replacements.

Some of the hazards include exposure of the chargers which could cause problems such as electric shocks. However the exchange is limited to a certain scope of models (AC-3E, AC-3U and AC-4U). If you want to learn more about the program, you can check it out here.

  • The opportunity to save on buying a new mobile device such as a Blackberry may be somewhat stalled at times. And one main reason seen for this is the price for getting a new one. But if the tweets made by T-Mobile is accurate enough, you may just get a big break. Apparently there are reports that T-Mobile will be giving consumers up to a $50 off if they trade-in their old “working” phones and get a brand new Blackberry Curve.

There seems to be some confusion on what actual phones are included in this promotion. In fact, it seems that the promotion only offers a Blackberry Curve 8520. That was until T-Mobile posted a lot of current curve models tied up with it. But one thing is for sure, you will get a $50 off. So if you are aching to get a new Blackberry, here is your chance so I suggest you grab it!

When it comes to enjoying your tunes or game sounds privately and wholly, it may all be in the earphones we use. Normally, our iPhones or iPod Touch come with the default earphones from Apple but the thing is, are they enough and the question of how long they can be used is in question. If you look around today, iPhone owners are looking for something better to replace them and the Atrio M8 earphones may be a good set to consider.

The Atrios come in four identical models: The m3, m5, m8 and m9. The only difference is the color. Also included are a sturdy carrying case and many different sized silicone and foam tips as well as a cleaning tool.

The Atrios earphones come from a low profile company dedicated to the professional musician who need custom-fit earphones for stage use. But aside from that, they bank highly on comfort. Hence this is a reason as to why their earphones don’t come cheap. They cost $200 but quality costs money to make.

Perhaps if you can spare the money, this is a good iPhone accessory to have. However do remember that today, we all pay any amount for quality and comfortable devices. The Atrio M8 is clearly in that level which precedes value for your money.

  • On whether the price discount for the iPhone 3G was made on purpose or not wouldn’t really matter for people. The purchase price now is all that matters and if you have been longing to get an iPhone for your own, I bet you would be wishing that you were in India right now.

Apparently, Telkomsel has announced a close to $96 discount off on 8GB and 16GB iPhone models in celebration of its 14th anniversary. But while that may seem logical, some critics are seeing it as a move to clean up their inventory and make way for the third generation iPhone.

But while you may be oozing at the price reductions, note that this is the second time that this telecommunications company has announced a price reduction for the iPhone. The first one was made last month. So if you consider the consumer relationship with the company, you may find it erratic and inconsistent. Who knows if next month another price reduction may take place?

Hence it all comes down to consistency. The early buyers in April thought they got a good deal. But the ones who passed are now exposed to something even better. In the end, the consistency of the copany is at stake. But then again, that is marketing for you and surely, a preparation for something new and perhaps even better.

The big question among Indonesian minds now is whether Telkomsel will offer the next iPhone model as soon as it is made available by Apple or whether they will make their customers wait several weeks to allow for the older iPhone 3G to fully run out.

The new IdeaPad S10-2 netbook gives consumers even cooler netbook features – models with 3G connectivity, the rich sound of Dolby headphone technology for music and movies and long battery life. Lenovo also made the IdeaPad S10-2 netbook thinner and lighter than the previous IdeaPad S10 netbook, and packaged the netbook in an expressive, colorful new ring pattern design.

Vodafone continues to improve its current line of handsets and the latest is that of the Vodafone 527 Catwallk Collection. Away from the handset headlines, Vodafone continues to roll out own-brand phones that do the job, but come with at a no-frills price tag. As well as a bunch of new models announced recently, Vodafone has given its ultra low-cost models a Catwalk Collection refresh.

The new-look Vodafone 527 is one of these, a budget candybar phone that has been made over for value-conscious phone buyers who still desire a bit of show. The recession-beating 527 Catwalk Collection phone is now available in a range of eye-grabbingly colourful bodywork choices - violet, ice (white), rose (pink), lemon and sky (blue).

The 527 is not exactly stuffed to the gills with high-tech gadgetry. It’s a workmanlike dual-band GSM handset rather than a 3G model. But it does have a few features to entertain away the downturn, including a music player with MicroSD memory card expansion, FM radio, and camera.
