Spyker is best known as a Dutch manufacturer of racing cars. However, it looks like they have tried their luck in the mobile phone industry as they are set to unveil two mobile phones, the EG2000 and another slider-type phone.

The EG2000 showcases a slim and elegant candybar design that has a touchpad instead of a regular alphanumeric keypad. It also features a 2MP camera and a display that could be a QVGA one.
The second phone with a slider looks more of an entry-level phone. The phone has no touchpad for the operation and as for the actual model, nothing has been revealed as of now.
Once the Mobile World Congress 2009 gets underway, more detailed features should be released. For now we can just catch a glimpse of these Spyker phones and eagerly await what they have to offer.

Dell Inc., a familiar brand name in the world of personal computing has been rumored to join the mobile phone industry soon. At the moment, Dell has reportedly instructed its engineers to work on several prototypes based on mobile software from Google and Microsoft.
If reports are accurate, it seems that Dell is trying to conceptualize a phone similar to the touch screen iPhone. It will be recalled the Dell planned to unveil a digital music player that could connect wirelessly to the Internet last summer but was later on scrapped. That could also happen to this new mobile phone plan.
Dell’s possible entry into the mobile device market comes as it continues to lose PC market share.
