The new app allows customers to sync their prepaid Starbucks cards, being able to check and add credits in case they are about to use up their credit. For the coffee addicts, the app can also pick up the tab for your next order.

Mobile marketing is common to most these days and apparently this now includes the real estate sector. The network that mobile phones cover is so broad that along those lines, you know that you can catch some customers in the process. Such is the philosophy that HGTV seems to be banking on as it launches its own version iPhone app for business functions.
Users can view clips from favorite HGTV shows like Designed to Sell, Curb Appeal, Get It Sold, and My First Place. While watching, users can bookmark favorites, share clips with friends, and rate the videos – all from inside the app.
“Homebuyers and sellers are constantly on the move and looking for ways to learn more about what’s going on in real estate. The new HGTV iPhone app is a great way for Coldwell Banker to capture their attention and engage them whether they are at home or out and about,” said Michael Fischer, senior vice president of marketing at Coldwell Banker.
This app is surely a good app to have for the real estate agents and brokers aching to find ways to get a sale through. So as far as data gathering and market fluctuations are concerned, this is one app that can really be of great assistance to them.

Affiliating themselves with HipCricket is becoming a great gamble for most sports radio stations as it has increased cumulative audience and time spent listening, building robust remarketable databases and consistently recording most text messaging activities among HipCricket’s hundreds of stations.
HipCricket’s list of sports stations reads like a Who’s Who – The Ticket Dallas, WEEI-AM Boston, KJR Seattle, KESN-AM Dallas, KTKR-AM San Antonio and ESPN Seattle. Syndicated sports radio host Jim Rome is also a client.
Prior to HipCricket, The Ticket was signing up an average of 75 new listeners per month to its VIP database. In the first two months of working with HipCricket, the station opted in 2,615 new members. Also, The Ticket sent a text push to its entire database encouraging listeners to tune in for a major announcement. Portable People Meter (PPM) data showed that the station’s cume doubled in each of the three quarter hours that the Cowboys’ programming push messages were sent to the station’s text club.
“Text messaging has strengthened our bond with our listeners,” said Gus Swanson, who oversees KJR-AM in his role as Clear Channel Seattle marketing director. “The most powerful part of our relationship with HipCricket is that when our team or I have an off the wall idea and say ‘What If we tried this’, they embrace the concept as a way to make the entire system better. The result delivers more impact for our stations, our listeners and our clients.”

If you happen to receive a certain plug or advertisement on your cell phone, you can be sure that the Atomic Blue Sender Software is responsible for it. Mobile marketing is touted as the new age of marketing for businesses and with this newly developed software from AtomPark Software, you can be sure that companies will start investing in it to build market awareness via the growing population of mobile phone users.
Of course, the Bluetooth connection must be enabled on phones. While some user have played it safe by turning it off (for security reasons against viruses), the probability of being sent advertisements via mobile technology is to be expected.
When Bluetooth-enabled devices are in range of the broadcast, the Atomic Blue Sender application (constantly scanning for such devices) finds the ones with Bluetooth set to discoverable and sends information to all of them. All you have to do is to add the files containing that information.
But again, the thing is that the Bluetooth connectivity of phones within range must be turned on. Also, users have to open it to see it.

Hyundai seems to be on a tear these days. After having some key moments in the automotive industry, it looks like they are about to invade the mobile phone market as well. And considering that they have gained the tag of being reasonably priced, this alone provides them a glimpse of possibly penetrating the mobile phone market by the end of spring.
If reports are accurate, they are targeting all competing brands and models in the mobile market, including the iPod and the iPhone. This and a lot more are in their list of corporate goals and Hyundai may just be the new kid on the block playing along with the big boys of the mobile solutions industry.
At present, Hyundai has some eight models currently available in Europe and plans to have another 10 to 15 available during the course of 2009. The hope is that can become a serious contender for a market share in the highly lucrative mobile communications business which is currently dominated by the likes of Sony Ericsson and Nokia.
