Mobiado 105GMT Stealth

For the people looking for a luxury phone to capitalize their rant, Mobiado has unveiled a couple of new luxury mechanical watch mobile phones which should leave you breathless. Mobiado presents two phone models, the 105GMT Stealth and Professional 105GMT Antique. These two phones showcase a clock and mobile phones rolled into one. They also come with a sliding battery cover mechanism and a cover made from sapphire crystals as well. The entire construction is assembled by hand with gun metal black stainless steel screws.

Other notable features include Quadband GSM, Dual Band WCMA, a 2 megapixel picture and video camera and more than 1GB of internal memory. They also boast of a 2” display which can display over 16 million colors and they usual micro USB ports for connectivity options.

Here’s another smartphone that I could probably never afford. This is the Mobiado 350 Pioneer, which my source tells me very little about except it has 24-karat gold plate screws, sapphire crystals, an aluminum frame, as well as a ruby infrared screen. Only 37 of these GSM phones are made, so one can only assume the rich will have this.

Mobiado has introduced its Professional 105GCB Rose which is a luxurious cell phone constructed using techniques from Swiss watch-making. In the Mobiado tradition, the 105GCB Rose comes with a case built out of sapphire crystal and plated with 18K gold – rose gold, to be more exact.

Additionally, it has sapphire crystal keys that are hand-painted with the same type of 18K rose gold. Furthermore, the phone has “gun metal black stainless steel screws” and an unusual, patent-pending battery cover mechanism. There is no word on procing yet.

Mobiado has a new luxury phone for all those surviving successfully the current economy. It’s a second model of its Mechanical Watch Mobile Phone Series. And they call it the 105GMT WHITE. It’s a combination between luxury watches and luxury phones which you won’t mind wearing at all times.

And it’s the way this phone is made that will pleasantly surprise you. The front and back are made from large pieces of sapphire crystal. The battery cover is also unique as it’s made from a single piece of sapphire crystal. The frame is made of solid brass and nickel coating. Titanium screws are used to keep everything together while the buttons are made of sapphire crystals hand painted with silver color which will get noticed immediately after being illuminated.

The phone-watch has a dual Swiss mechanical watch movement inside which will let you set up two international time zones. The electronic phone time will get you your local time which means you’ll have access to three time zones at once. Each Swiss watch has 25 jeweled bearing and makes 28,800 vibration per hour.

The Mobiado exclusive 3D shock absorbing system will let the watches moves unharmed by the everyday mishandling of a phone. The details of every watch are fully visible. Just check the picture here. And there’s sapphire all around them for better protection. That’s about 274 Carats of sapphire crystal.

I almost forgot this is actually a fully working phone. The 105GMT WHITE comes with quad-band GSM/EGSM and dual-band WCDMA support. It has a 2 megapixel camera and a video camera, more than 1GB of internal memory and a 2-inch display with up to 16 million colors. Micro USB and Bluetooth connectivity, and a decent music player complete the specs sheet.

If Luxury is your middle name then you surely own at least one Mobiado phone. The cell phone maker has more phones available. And there are four more phones available: Professional 105 EM White, Professional 105 EM Red, Professional 105 EM CLB Black and Professional 105 EM CLB Silver.

The Professional 105 EM Special edition are built from maple burl wood mixed with titanium, sapphire crystal and a pinch of 24K gold. The specs will not impress, but then again they don’t have to! The 105 EM CLB Black and Silver are similar to the 105 EM (check them out below). And yeah, I don’t like the colors either. Go to Mobiado and demand availability dates and prices. But then again if Luxury is your middle name, you might have already bought all four of them and not even know it!

Good for them. I should end this post here. I mean if I had all the money in the world and then some I still wouldn’t choose any expensive phone just because others like me do. But in all fairness to the mobile world I feel I have to show you Mobiado phones too. Maybe it will put things in perspective for you and you will realize that a smartphone for $299 might just be worth it.

If you still haven’t taken the plunge with the Stealth, here is another alternative from Mobiado, the Professional CAMO. Just like the Stealth, CAMO is built from aircraft aluminum resulting in a lightweight yet tough body, which is then anodized to give it a ceramic look. The anodized surface is painted with camouflage colors by hand and the front bezel is coated with DiamondShield, a polymer substrate with diamond-like properties. The keys are made of stainless steel, making it much more sturdier.

On the spec-side, the Profession CAMO works with GSM 900/1800/1900 networks and is completely unlocked. The phone sports a TFT display and has an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera. It sports 32MB of internal memory with expansion up to 512MB, video streaming, music player, and Visual Radio. Bluetooth and infrared are the only connectivity options available.

Considering there are only 200 of it made, the Professional CAMO would definitely fit your profile if you are in the market for some uniqueness. There is no info on pricing yet, but don’t expect it to come cheap.

If you liked the Vertu, then you will definitely like Stealth, Mobiado’s latest luxury creation, provided you have a big wad of green to spend. This beautifully crafted mobile phone, inspired by military stealth aircrafts, is made of aircraft aluminum with buttons of sapphire crystal and stainless steel. The front screen and camera window are also of sapphire crystal.

As far as the specs go, Stealth runs a customized version of Symbian Series 40 and is completely unlocked working on triband GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) and WCDMA (2100MHz) with 3G. It carries a 2-megapixel camera with a large QVGA display. It also sports an MP3 player supporting MP3, MP4, eAAC+, and AAC. Memory can be expanded via microSD for up to 2GB. Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, and PTT are the other notable features.

There is no news about its price, but better snag one fast as only 1200 of this sexiness will be manufactured.
