When the HP2133 Mini-Note PC was first launched a few months ago, on April, the price range could go from $500 to $800 depending on your customization. But thanks to Amazon and their good will to make money, the HP netbook is now at sale with a price tag of $300 - less $200 than the original lowest price.
The model available at this price is entitled KR922UT, and the specifications can be a bit low-end, but in the end you get what you pay for. Which means that for $300 you get a VIA C7-M 1GHz processor, plus 512MB of memory RAM, and only 4GB on a built-in flash drive.
As you can imagine, Microsoft Windows would become a bit slow on this machine, and that is why it runs Linux.

There is a new netbook in the Korean market made by JCHyun, and codenamed Udia Min Note T100 Office. As the name suggests, this netbook model is preloaded with a Microsoft Office version, more specifically the Home & Student 2007.
It can’t be considered a top-notch netbook, but it serves the main purpose of doing normal tasks on word + excel + powerpoint. With that being said, the Mini Note T100 has an Intel Atom N720 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of memory RAM, and a hard-drive of 80GB.
Standard features like USB ports, multi-memory card reader, and VGA out are also included.
