  • On the first of this month we let you know that Motorola was working on an Android powered phone for Verizon reportedly called the Droid. This is supposedly the same device that has been floating around that people have been calling the Motorola Sholes.

Whatever its name is, we already know that it will most likely feature a 600MHz processor along with a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 5MP camera all powered by Google’s Android 2.0 operating system.

December 1st is the release date these rumors are pointing at but until we hear official word from Motorola or Verizon, we’re keeping our mouths shut.

    Unannounced Android MID detailed?

Yesterday we showed you an Android powered MID that looked shockingly like something Apple’s hardware designers would think up even though we knew the guys in Cupertino had nothing to do with it. At the time it was spotted, the entire Internet was confused as to what the device actually was.

Today, however, it looks like the internet may have figured out what the device actually is; the MID-560 from SMiT which we’ve included a render of, above. While it’s not confirmed the above device is the same as the one we saw yesterday but it’s 800 x 480 resolution, 533/667 MHz processor, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card still make it a highly sought after device. We’ll just have to wait until live shots of the MID-560 are released so we can compare the two.

Unfortunately, the chances of it ever hitting the market outside of China remains slim to none.

    SanDisk SlotRadio

    SanDisk SlotRadio

    SanDisk SlotRadio

The SanDisk SlotRadio is a pretty simple device that comes ready to use with a microSD preloaded with 1,000 of hits selected from the Billboard charts. The user can choose from Country, Contemporary, Rock, Alternative, and R & B/Hip Hop If these preloaded tunes aren’t your cup of tea then you can just connect it to your computer and load up the tunes that you do like with drag and drop.

If you want an MP3 player, but don’t want to deal with the hassles of loading, or messing with iTunes, then you don’t have to. In other words, this may be the perfect Portable Media Player (PMP) for those who are not into messing around with electronics for hours on end. The device retails for around $99.00
