We were expecting T-Mobile to roll out Samsung Memoir and that has just happened today. If you need a new 8 megapixel camera phone, then the Memoir might be exactly what you need. Besides the 8 megapixel sensor you will get a Xenon flash, smile and face detection and geo-tagging capabilities. As for the phone you get 3G support, touch support with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and A-GPS.

    Samsung Mobile and T-Mobile USA have announced a new Smart Phone, the ‘Samsung Memoir.’ The full touch-screen mobile phone comes equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and premium multimedia features. The ‘Memoir,’ is designed to look and feel like a customer’s current point-and-shoot digital camera. The built-in 8-megapixel camera has a Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and five shooting modes, including a feature that enables users to capture videos from their phone. Samsung’s new photo widget will enable customers to post images taken with the ‘Memoir’ directly to their favorite online photo-sharing sources.

    “With the 8-megapixel Samsung Memoir, T-Mobile customers can capture and share little slices of life in all their vibrant brilliance,” said Denny Marie Post, Chief Marketing Officer, T-Mobile USA. The Memoir’s full-touch virtual QWERTY keypad and multiple messaging capabilities, including text, multimedia messaging, instant messaging and e-mail, make staying connected quick and easy while on the go. ’The Memoir’ will be available exclusively through T-Mobile.

  • T-Mobile is going to finally launch the Samsung Memoir this month. The phone comes with quite a few features that will improve your photos on the go. The Memoir has an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and a 16x digital zoom an xenon flash. You will be able to easily upload picture to flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket and Snapfish. Other features include Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, a full-QWERTY keypad, aGPS, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity but no WiFi.

    Samsung Memoir Ready for T-Mobile?


    Is the Samsung Memoir ready to make its debut on US soil? It seems that T-Mobile is going to be picking up this baby soon. The Memoir comes with a full touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus, 16x digital zoom, dual LED flash and 30 fps video recording. And these are just a few features which might convince quite a few people out there to get it.

    The Memoir will cost $299.99 with a 2-year contract and it might arrive in about a month from now, on February 25th.
