Here is a different way of sharing some videos with the help of a computer. With the MultiVid app, you can use any PC or MAC as a broadcasting station to send certain videos to any iPhone or iPod Touch simultaneously. Each of the phone/s are synchronized with the main source (PC or MAC) and once they are connected, you can pick what files you want to be shown on the devices defined under the MultiVid Device Management screen.
This is a great app for people who want to make use of a new tool for presentations or even guided tours via the use of iPhones or an iPod Touch. The MultiVid app is likewise ideal for special events so that people don’t have to limit themselves to one view (especially if they don’t have the best seats in the house).
Any number of MultiVid units can be synchronized. Sync accuracy is currently around 500 milliseconds and might be further improved in future versions of the software.

The iPhone has been a multi-functional device for games, business apps and even videos. But now it seems to be adding another dimension towards its many uses as a monitoring device for homes that make use of solar energy.
There are homes now that make use of solar power as their main source of energy but the available power generated by these solar panels leaves a lot to be feted on. For one, knowing how much energy is available for use to power up the home is needed and until now, no competent means of measuring that was available.
SunPower Corp. thus unveils a solar power monitoring software that can be used via the iPhone/ iPod Touch. With this new app which is now available at the Apple App Store for free, home owners can now easily evaluate and see the efficiency of their solar cells, panels and system and see if they are functioning accordingly.
“With the SunPower Monitoring System, our customers can optimize their solar investment and save on energy expenses,” said Jan Soderstrom, vice president and chief marketing officer at SunPower Corp. “By monitoring their solar systems online, in-home or via their Apple mobile devices, these tools empower homeowners to track their systems anytime and from practically any location.”

In what is perhaps the most affordable and basic phone among the three new releases of Nokia, the Nokia 5030 is the first phone to carry an internal FM radio antenna. The one touch FM radio and channel selection keys on the side of the device ensure the product lives up to its XpressRadio name.
Placed sideways on the table, the Nokia 5030 doubles as a portable FM radio and is ideal for emerging markets, where people rely on a radio as their main source of entertainment and news. The Nokia 5030 has up to a day of listening time and 10 hours of talk time, which comes to life with the powerful loudspeaker, and is available in two colors - graphite and red.
The Nokia 5030 is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2009 with an estimated retail price of less than 40 EUR, before taxes or subsidies.
