All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

After all the controversies surrounding the iPorn app, bet you didn’t know that it servers hosting the server eventually got scorched! Well, apparently they did and with all the controversy tied up to it, the iPorn app for the iPhone or the iPod Touch has been pulled out over at the app store.

The app showcased 2,200 of the “Hottest Girls” which cost only $2 to download. But the decision to pull it out was not because of the server issue but more of some loose ends on the area of inappropriate content.

Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content. The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content. This was a direct violation of the terms of the iPhone Developer Program. The application is no longer available on the App Store

If you have had the chance to work in an office environment, the initial impression that the Teco Skype Phone has may not be appealing. But take a look closer and you may discover that to operate this phone, your home network will be needed to place a call.

As we all know, a number of Skype devices have come out since it carries a better way of making calls anywhere cheaper. And the latest device to adhere to the Skype technology is this phone which may seem sophisticated to use but really easy to handle with some loose ends.

Although the phone is pretty easy to use, it does seem to inherit some of Skype’s annoying qualities. For example, the phone refuses to accept perfectly valid Skype contacts. Pricing for SkypeOut is rather costly, considering most BT-to-BT calls are free these days.

The Teco Skype phone is available via the Solwise Web site, or from other selected retailers, and costs about £85.
