SoundofMotion adds another handy application that can be integrated with Android smartphones with the release of VeloComputer7. This latest software virtually transforms mobile phones into GPS and tracking devices, a useful addition for the cyclists who often embark on long journeys.

It comes with a built-in accelerometer and all a cyclist has to do is attach the phone to his bike or his tights and he can get the proper navigation support. Likewise, it helps keep track of the pedaling done by the person, the built-in accelerometer detects up and down leg motion and calculates cadence in rotations per minute or RPM. This technology frees the bicycle from any sensors on a crankshaft.

VeloComputer is now available on Android Market, BlackBerry App World and Sony-Ericsson PlayNow Arena in 9 languages and retails for $14.95.

In what seems to be similar to the 24/7 technical support for most online websites we see today, InstantService Inc., releases the InstantMobile application, a chat and email management solution perfect for businesses who want to improve their customer service rendering. This latest software puts to good use the mobile devices as a medium for various matters, which can certainly bring down the usual telephone support costs.

The software can be customized to suit the ideal interface and usability that companies are looking for. InstantService offers chat clients for both smart phone browsers and custom-developed chat clients for specific devices.

The company has developed device native chat clients for the T-mobile G1 and Apple iPhone, and continues to develop the solution for other devices as requested.
