One can be amazed as the various things an iPhone can do and one of them happens to be to actually use your iPhone with your camera. Bodelin Technologies, manufacturer of the award winning ProPrompter mobile teleprompters, have now answered the thousands of requests for professional teleprompting software for the iPhone and iPod touch and hardware.

Introduced at the recent National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, ProPrompter software is now available in the App Store for $9.99. Features include smooth scrolling, landscape mode and portrait mode, several speed presets, on the fly re-cueing and scroll speed adjustment, fonts and font sizes, background colors, looping, mirroring, foreign language characters, an extensive offline/online help menu and much more.

For true in-lens teleprompting you can use your iPhone or iPod touch with the new ProPrompter ProMag which magnifies the iPhone or iPod touch to twice its size and reflects on a one way mirror in front of the lens.

The ProPrompter software, for iPhone and iPod touch, is available today from the App Store in iTunes. The ProPrompter Wing and ProMag are available from the ProPrompter site and dealers worldwide.

  • Finger Memo 2.0 for iPhones

Touch screen technology has apparently gotten the better of us but apparently there is a new software that allows anyone to scroll the iPhone screens with the use of a finger. Aesthology has released Finger Memo 2.0, a handwriting app for the iPhone and iPod touch that supports unlimited canvas sizes and unlimited undo and redo.

The app lets you scroll back and forth across the canvas with finger touches, and also includes a fast scrolling feature that speeds up the process. In addition, the app includes three color pens, an eraser, support for pinch zoom and landscape mode, a shake function that acts as Undo All, thumbnail previews of all memos, and the ability to export them to Photo Library. Many of these features are new in version 2.0.

The app costs $1.99 and is currently available in Apple’s App Store.

    LG Neon TE365F QWERTY Phone

LG Electronics offers a low cost phone that possesses the high quality features like QWERTY and touch screen features, then the LG Neon may be worth checking out. Also available through Rogers Wireless, the LG Neon is not supposed to compete against a BlackBerry or an iPhone. Instead, it’s a slightly beefier multimedia phone that happens to rock a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Texters will find that quite useful.

The most notable feature on the LG Neon TE365F is its slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This three-row keyboard will certainly come in handy for pumping out those text messages, instant messages, and emails. When you slide out the keyboard, the display automatically orients to landscape mode as well. The display also happens to be a touchscreen, but it comes with a few limitations that I’ll describe a little later in this review.

Other notable features on this multimedia and messaging-minded handset include tri-band (850/1800/1900) GSM/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth, integrated MP3 player, FM radio, 2 megapixel camera (no flash), picture and video messaging, and an SMS conversation box. It’s nice to see a couple of notable basics like the MP3 player and digital camera, but there isn’t much here that’s going to floor you. At the same time, you have to realize that this phone only costs fifty bucks with contract. That’s pretty cheap.

Inside the box are the phone itself, a SIM card, charger, and supporting documentation. Even though there’s an MP3 player inside and the phone uses a proprietary connection, there is no provided headset.

The LG Neon TE365F QWERTY messaging phone is available through Fido for $50 with a qualifying two-year service agreement or for $175 outright.
