All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

The world’s first 1TB SSD just launched in January, but that doesn’t stop Asus from stuffing it inside it’s latest Lamborghini VX5 laptop.

This mammoth of a machine packs a 16-inch LCD, Intel Corde 2 Quad processor, 4GB of ram, and a Nvidia GeForce GT 130M GPU.

All of this coupled with it’s backlit keyboard and Blu-ray drive make the VX5 really live up to its Lamborghini branding.

Expect this thing to cost more than your car when it hits shelves at an unannounced time.

  • Lamborghini ZX1 from Asus

Asus Lamborghini ZX1It’s not a smart fast car but a smart phone from Lamborghini and Asus. The Asus-Lamborghini ZX1 PDA phone has won the iF Communication Desing Award this year. So does Lamborghini come with their logo? Is everything else inside from ASUS?

    Let’s take a look at ASUS-Lamborghini ZX1:

    • carbon fiber back panel
    • joystick on the front embedded in the Lamborghini logo
    • HSDPA,
    • Windows Mobile 6.1,
    • 2.8 inch screen,
    • 3MP camera,
    • GPS, WiFi,
    • TI OMAP CPU,
    • 256MB Flash and 128MB SDRAM.
    • dimensions: 115.6 x 59.4 x 13.2mm.

Want one? At least you will be able to say you own a Lamborghini right? There’s no news on arrival dates or pricing, but I bet that logo is pretty expensive.

  • Seems like ASUS rocked at the Computex 2008. Besides cool devices like the Handwriting Tablet, ASUS exhibited many other interesting products. Asus ZX1 Lamborghini Phone is one of the elegant phones in ASUS’s product portfolio at Computex. It derives its name from the famous sports car Automobili Lamborghini for sharing some features with the car. It has a masculine cut and sturdy exterior. This striking cell phone is made from carbon fiber and high grade stainless steel. This touch screen phone is truly made for “Elite Men”.

  • lamborghini.JPGWhat is it with boys and cars? The first time I read about this news, excitement instantly kicked in. Lamborghini, an Italian manufacturer of sports cars, has just revealed another member of its sports car family, the Lamborghini Murcielargo LP640 Super Car. This was done during the 2008 F1 & Super Car Show.

The Murcielargo LP640 is powered by a 6496cc 12-cylinder engine with 640 horsepower, it can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 340km/h. Now that’s what we call speed!

The 2008 F1 & Super Car Show is held at Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju, Korea from May 9 to May 18 2008.

    Asus
Korea is currently prepping for the release of the new edition of their high end notebook PC line, the Lamborghini VX2S. The sleek device was designed for both gamers and CEOs (what’s the difference again?) alike. Like the Lamborghini, we all expect this expensive baby to able to deliver. Why don’t you judge for yourself? The Lamborghini VX2S has a 15.4-inch 1680 x 1050 pixels resolution LCD display. It supports both Blu-ray (with HD DVD losing in the high-def battle, there’s no alternative) and Bluetooth v2.0+EDR. The Asus The Lamborghini VX2S runs on Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor and uses NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT for graphics. In regards to memory, it has 512MB RAM, 2GB memory (DDRII 667), as well as 1GB turbo memory. The MSRP of this new Asus offering is somewhere around US$4200+.

    Another pic after the jump.
