Let’s move along people, there’s nothing to see here. The Meizu M8 is probably one of the best iPhone knock offs but that doesn’t mean you should actually get one. Sure Meizu will say that its phone is totally original and what not, but the fact remains that it’s a copy of a different phone. And the M8 seems to be ready to sell for “just” $440. Will anyone venture off to get one? Will we get our money back if we don’t like it? Or we could always get two storms for the price of one…

I mean it couldn’t be an Agora! Kogan announced that the Agora Android phones were postponed until further notice. So what is this handset right here then? It looks like an Agora and it’s available for sale. And it’s called the “Shining”. That name seems awfully familiar! Are we to expect Jack Nicholson to pop out of it with an axe in his hands? The price is $240 if you buy 100 of them. Definitely these phones aren’t the real thing but it’s surely good to know a Kogan Agora phone could exist. And if some Chinese manufacturers went through all this trouble to copy the Agora, it must mean that the Agora might just be a goon enough Android phone. We’re kind of sorry this Android hasn’t seen the light of day yet but we’re counting on Kogan to change that.

The phone in the picture is the BlueBlerry L900i. Sounds familiar? It shouldn’t be familiar at all. It’s another cheap Chinese knock off which you should never purchase. China Grabber says that the BlueBerry L900i will get you a “2.4 inch 240*320 pixels screen, bluetooth, and so on.” Well they had me at “so on”! I always buy stuff that offers me “so on” support.
Here’s what the “so-on” must mean:
- Bass vibration speaker
- High-definition camera (at 640×480)
- Keypad is very soft and delicate for users
- 1G TF card
- Dual SIM cards
- Can store 300 phonebooks!
- GPRS data!
- Comes with “Snake” game!
The BlueBerry costs $164.99 which is $105 off the regular $269.99. What can I say, “The new design compromises the nobler and interest styles. It is a good choice for you.” Wait, that’s what China Grabber says. I say “Don’t Buy It!” So maybe a BlackBerry instead?

We’ve seen our share of iPhone knock offs but this one gets a top 3 entry. It’s a flip iPhone and it was conceived in China. If you were to chose, what would you prefer? The regular candybarish iPhone or the flip iPhone?
As for specs, this knock off will get you a 3 megapixel camera, a 2.6 inch display and a resolution of 240 x 320. It’s pretty small at 105 x 53 x 17mm and in weighs about 110 grams only.
Price and availability date? We don’t have them yet but we don’t encourage you to invest in knock offs either.

Are you ready for your Xperia X1 knock off? Does it get any faker than Sany Ericssan? What say you Sony Ericsson fans? I guess not! What you see is a pretty good 1:1 replica of Xperia X1. Same size, same 2.9 incg screen, same kind of keypad sliding out from one side, except it’s not a full QWERTY keyboard. Even an 8-megapixel camera. It’s a cheap smartphone with a nice VAIO branding on the back and it’s only $193. What reason could you possibly have not to get one? Please don’t get this as a present for anyone this Christmas!
