There is a new kind or protection for the new Blackberry Curver 8900 Smartphone courtesy of Otterbox. The new case is the Otterbox Defender Series case, promising to preserve the quality of your Blackberry particularly from dirt, bumps, dents and scratches.

The new design is tailor-made for the Blackberry Curve. Putting into consideration the necessary components such as the trackball, lock, mute and volume controls, the casing will not hinder your need for user flexibility.

It has three innovative layers to ensure quality protection for your Blackberry smartphone:

  • Layer 1: Thermal formed protective clear PVC membrane to cover the key pad. Clear PC sheet to cover the screen. Protects against scratching, as well as dust intrusion (layer optional depending on the level of ruggedization desired)
  • Layer 2: Hi-impact polycarbonate shell
  • Layer 3: Silicone skin to absorb bump and shock

Watch out for a new handset to be released in the market from Samsung Electronics. Following reports that its latest mobile device got FCC approval, the Samsung SCH-R560 is bound to be another top mobile phone that many will be looking forward to checking out and eventually owning.

The R560 is actually the upgraded version of the Samsung R450 which is smaller and less bulkier. The feature which may most likely get the eye of mobile geeks is the 2MP camera/camcorder that comes with it. You can use the pad to move around the menu or spin it and plays videos. You can use the internet with the key pad closed unlike the R450.
