LG-KC780 for Orange in the UK

We’ve mentioned the LG-KC780 two times before: once when the first pictures surfaced, and twice when more details were found and the phone officially announced.

This will be the third time, and the purpose is to take note that the LG cellphone will soon become available on the UK market thanks to the popular mobile carrier Orange. In case you don’t remember, the LG-KC780 features a 8-megapixel camera, USB 2.0 as the interface to transfer files using wires, or Bluetooth if you want to go wireless.

The slider is designed to work with quad-band GSM networks with speeds stopping at EDGE, and has Bluetooth, USB 2.0 support, and microSD expansion to augment the 140 megs that it houses internally. Not much to speak of, but if we are solely interested in a good cameraphone, this could serve the purpose. No details on pricing or availability, but as always, looks for us to tell you. (more…)
