Sprint is going to release this Sanyo Katana Eclipse as it has just been approved by the FCC. Don’t get up from your chair just yet! The Eclipse isn’t just a clamshell phone. It does have those much needed specs you are looking for in a phone, but we are still waiting for an official release with more official details.

Sanyo Japan has announced the launch of its latest Katana LX Cell phone with Sprint. This CDMA cell phone has a sexy and slim exterior. In a lightweight Clamshell design the Sanyo Katana LX has alot of amazing features like GPS navigation, high-quality speakerphone, aBluetooth, VGA camera, and Sanyo’s unique call screening feature. The mirrored front of the cell phone bars view of the OLED outer display which has a resolution of 128×160. This 3.4 oz weighing phone runs on CDMA 850 / CDMA 1900 modes. It will be available soon at an expected price of 49.99 US dollars.
