24 May 09 Eucalyptus Revived and Approved at App Store

It does seem like this new app for iPhones can relate well to the phrase, “Second Time is a Charm”. At least that is the story of this app called the Eucalyptus which was initially rejected due to some issues surrounding the type of materials that users could get once installed.

The e-book reader for the iPhone and iPod touch was rejected because a person could get sexually oriented books like the Kama Sutra, even though the book is in the public domain and freely available on the web.

However, it seems that after the developers have explained their part on the confusion surrounding this app, Apple was convinced of the actual intent of the app and really had no malicious intent involved. After showing the rebuilt version, Apple representatives finally gave the go signal for the app, setting the lines straight as far as what the app is really all about.
