Amazon has recently announced that their bigger-screen-touting eBook reader, the Kindle DX, will ship to consumers on June 10th.

For those who don’t know the Kindle DX was announced shortly after the Kindle 2 and features a bigger screen, accelerometere and of course, a bigger price range. $489 to be exact.

Also, just so you know, Amazon opened up preorders for the Kindle DX some time ago so chances are if you haven’t already done so, you will be receiving the device sometime after June 10th.

Sprint really is taking the Palm Pre launch seriously having recently announced that they will holding an exclusive launch party on June 5th.

Unforunately, you’ll have to be a Sprint Premier Customer to get in but if you are a Premier Customer you’ll be able to buy a Palm Pre one day before everyone else.

BGR says that the event is to go down in Los Angeles complete with celebs, music, drinks, and a lot of Pre. Although, if you’re actually able to get into this event you probably already knew that.

Since it’s the middle of May already we can simply assume that the Pre is about a month away. Recent rumors say that Palm is going to launch the Pre in the first week of June. Is Palm interested in dropping the Pre before Apple’s WWDC? According to the New York Times the Pre is coming before June 8. On the other hand we’ve heard that the iPhone might not be even presented at the WWDC and that a new iPhone-dedicated event will be held by Steve Jobs later this summer. Or is it just an interesting out of the box strategy meant to fool the guys at Palm?

  • Palm Pre to Arrive in June?

Here we go people! The rumors have started to come in about the arrival date of the Pre. Palm has announced that the new smartphone will be available in the first half of the year. Well it looks like that first half of the year means June for some of you. Sprint employees are being trained on that Pre. Here’s what Sarah Lucy (a tech journalist) Twitters about it:

i honestly tried to bribe sprint employees to give me an unlocked pre. they’re all training on them! i know they have them back there

So what do you think? Do you have a better source? In the mean time we’re going to wonder if this tweet is true:

sprint employees told me the pre doesn’t come out until JUNE! :(
