Jabra Stone is one unique Bluetooth headset

There has been much hype about the Jabra Stone. Part of it is its unique design as the headset fits in the charger to make a seemingly seamless smooth stone. It also has a touch sensitive shell for its controls rather than the traditional buttons.

It has a talk time of 2 hours, plus a dock that is good for three extra charges. The standby time is reportedly 12 days. The Jabra Stone will hit AT&T stores on November 8th, with a price of $130.

For the mobile users who have not yet experienced the benefits of using a Bluetooth headset, it would be best to use one that is easy to use and operate. Surely we all know that not all mobile phone owners are techies and rather than buy one simply for bragging rights, here is one that makes sense as far as ease of use is concerned. And best of all, it is lightweight and eco-friendly at that.

The Bluetooth headset being mentioned is the Jabra BT2080 from GN Netcom. It weighs less than 3 ounces, and combines a sophisticated matte black finish with an attractive silver button to produce a contemporary and stylish headset. The Jabra BT2080 is likewise the first Jabra headset with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, enabling users with phones that support the technology to enjoy simple, secure pairing without the need to enter a PIN code.

Features:

  • Jabra StatusDisplay shows battery level and Bluetooth connection status
  • Dedicated on/off switch makes it easy to turn on or off
  • Bluetooth 2.1 for simple and secure pairing, no pin code required

  • Dual wearing style: Over the ear with ear hook or in ear with Jabra Eargel
  • Auto-pairing to mobile phone
  • EDR and eSCO technology for clear audio quality
  • Up to 6 hours talk time and 8 days standby
  • Dimensions = 2 x .62 x .35 inches
  • Weight = 2.8 ounces

  • Standard Micro USB charger

The Jabra BT2080 is priced at $39.99 and is now available for purchase at retail stores nationwide.
