I guess Apple’s still relishing in all the attention after the iPad unveiling one week ago. It’s not like they sounded the trumpet for this new feature of iTunes for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
This iTunes Preview allows the user to select an App Store link and be taken to the website showing the app’s details. In other words, you know what you’re getting into before you’re downloading. Have you ever downloaded an App, and discovered that it wasn’t what you were expecting at all? With this app, you can see a picture, price, description, rating, reviews and screenshots.
I can’t help but wonder what a preview for the iTunes Preview would like.

Apple is bound to be cooking up something and this may not necessarily be a device. Actually if you look at it, there is one area of Apple that is oozing with opportunity and that is the iTunes app store. To date, the iTunes app store has become one of the cash cows of Apple and enhancing their offering and approval process are just some of the things that Steve Jobs and company may want to consider looking into.
e-Books, the approval process and the media formats are only some of the enhancements that Apple can look into (if not already). While everyone is focusing on releasing new devices and gadgets, this could be the next focus that Apple may very well need to pull away from its competitors.

Take images of yourself and see how you would look with a slimmer body, smaller nose or a thinner chin. The app is now available at the iTunes app store for only $0.99.

Apple has finally done what a lot of iTunes users have requested for years: a way to sample the songs online without needing to boot up (or even download) iTunes software. Apple has now added previews to their browser based iTunes Charts, which, as some speculate, might be a result of the recent acquisition of Lala.

I got something weird in my Spam e-mail box today. This is what it said:
Seth recommends Even The Losers by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers http://bit.ly/4Urocv
For best results, click bit.ly links on Macs or PCs with iTunes installed. Links do not currently work if launched on iPhones.
Email created with Mobile Music Messenger. http://www.mobilemusicmessenger.com
Sent from my iPhone
In this case, this message was not Spam. I met Seth L. Socolow, CEO and Founder of the San Francisco App Studio yesterday at CES, and he showed me his Mobile Music Messenger app for the iPhone and iTunes. I asked him to recommend me what he was listening to so I could see it in action.
The purpose of this app is so the user can take whatever song that he or she is listening to and “MMM” it over via email or update your Facebook or Twitter status to tell all your friends about it.
In all honesty, I can’t understand why someone didn’t think of something like this before. You can read more about it here.
