Not too long ago we let you know that Griffin’s latest iTrip would ship alongside an app controller that will be offered on the App Store.
Well, it seems that to make such a thing easier to consumers Apple has snuck in the feature that will allow connected accessories to prompt you if you want to download the associated app, as you can see above. This is compared to having to sort through the seemingly endless list of apps looking for the correct one.

The Griffin iTrip is probably one of the most well known iPhone/iPod accessories as it lets users effortlessly broadcast tunes using nothing more than the radio. Well, Griffin has just announced the availability of their latest iTrip will take full advantage of the new iPhone OS 3.0 as it lets you control the accessory right from the device itself using an app.
Other features of this new iTrip include the ability to broadcast track and artist infromation, SmartScan technology to find the most reliable frequency for broadcast and a microUSB port for charging purposes.
