The cost might be a little high at $495, but I don’t know any pico projectors that are compatible with all the things I mentioned above without requiring some sort of sold-separately adapter. There’s a video of the Sparkz in action after the jump.

Apple’s App Store has established yet another record. We’ve seen the store reach one billion downloads followed quickly by the two million mark. And now the App Store has reached another remarkable number. The store houses at this time 100,000 applications which is a record in the business and now the number has been officially recognized by Apple. Everyone else is trailing way back and it will be almost impossible for the App Store to be surpassed by any other similar adventure. We’re probably going to see even more records get established as there are more than 34 million iPhones out there, not to mention the iPod touches sold so far by Cupertino. We’ve showed you lots of App Store apps here and there are many more interesting apps to show you, so stay tuned. The third billion download is probably just around the corner.

The Apple App Store hits another milestone today. While everyone knows how hard it is to get an app approved, hitting the 100,000 mark is an achievement in itself. While only 93,118 of these apps can actually be purchased, there are minor discrepancies such as sudden pullouts of apps due to some issues. In short, the list may not be up to date.
If you want the actual count, there are 101,847 approved apps to date. Audited or unaudited, tip your hats off to the App Store for achieving these numbers and feat. Another testament to the growing success of the app store for the many iPhone and iPod Touch owners looking for specific apps for their mobile device.

Here is something useful to spur up the promotional efforts of companies. Called the iScratcher app for the iPhone or the iPod Touch, this app takes the concept of the usual scratch-to-win contests we often see for marketing and promotional contests where customers can possibly win a prize if they are lucky enough to scratch one via their mobile screens. The app is free and should be a great boost to the marketing and promotional efforts that companies can turn to, especially when it comes to contests, sweepstakes and giveaways.

Well, what do you know, it looks like those iPhones and iPods out there come with an integrated FM radio after all. Rumors are saying that Apple is going to launch a Radio application soon which will wake up that dormant integrated FM tuner. Don’t get all too excited since only the new iPhone and iPod touch models will be able to play radio tunes for you. If you have an old-gen handset or iPod then you’d better get a new unit in order to enjoy FM radio.
The new application will work well with iTunes which means you will be able to purchase the songs you’ve just listened to on the radio with a simple click. We don’t have any precise details about the future app and there’s a chance that we won’t even see it anytime soon. But we’ll be back with more when Apple decides to come clean with everything!
