We’ve seen the BlackBerry Bold 9700 press shot photo way ahead of its official launch so maybe these are the real pictures of the upcoming iPod touch 5G and the iPod nano 3G. Or maybe they are simply photoshopped images meant to grab some attention. We noticed the camera of the touch and bigger screen of the nano but we still require official confirmation. With only a few hours to go we can definitely tell you we’ll keep a keen eye on Apple’s keynote and bring all the hot details to you.

And like that wasn’t enough, it seems that Best Buy also has new cases for the upcoming fifth-generation iPod nanos. So what do you say folks? Ready for some shopping sprees come tomorrow?

In case the ridiculous amount of iPod touch and iPod nano cases we showed you last month wasn’t enough evidence to convince you that the next generation devices will feature a built in camera, today we bring you, more cases!

What you see above are cases for the iPod touch 3G and iPod nano 5G that show a camera in the exact same locations that the previously spotted cases had them. What’s more, the Portuguese store these pictures were taken from quickly pulled the pictures, issuing the below letter of apology:

Yesterday a new set of products for iPod in our catalog, we have been asked to remove them. It was then clarified that we were not allowed to publish it. We have immediately accepted to remove that information, and would like to express our sincere apologies to our costumers. We are expecting to make those products available in September.

Not allowed? As in, you published them too soon? I think it’s safe to say we will see an iPod touch 3G and iPod nano 5G announcement this September.

If you’re looking to pick up a case for your iPod Nano and want a nice nostalgia theme then maybe you should out Contexture Design’s 45 Nano Cases.

As you can see, these cases are nothing more than a gutted out cassette tape which was then be rebuilt to pefectly house an iPod Nano while still leaving its ports open for use.

Unfortunately, its $49 CAD ($45 USD) price tag will most likely have users trying to fashion their own rather than buying one of these.

A whole slew of pictures featuring Chinese-made iPod touch/nano cases have hit the web. This may seem like nothing exciting but they are reportedly cases for Apple’s next-generation devices.

As you can see from the above pictures, both MP3 players will feature cameras with the touch’s being centered while the nano’s is a bit offset.

While Apple hasn’t actually confirmed that their next-gen iPods will have cameras, why would these case-makers go through all of this trouble if they weren’t positive? Take it with a grain of salt, but this one’s pretty much confirmed.

    Next-gen iPods getting cameras?

If a recent camera order made by Apple is anything to go by, the next generation of iPod touches and iPod Nanos may very well be getting their own digital camera a la the iPhone.

As the rumor goes, Apple placed an order for a “massive number of camera modules of the type that they include in the iPhone”. Furthermore, they are cheap modules, around $10, which means they are almost exactly like the iPhone’s.

If/when Apple adds these cameras to their iPod lineup, what will happen to the low end digital camera market? Will they really cause that big of an upset? Only time will tell.

Apple has introduced lots of colors when it refreshed its iPod nano line so why not do the same thing with the new iPhone? What if Apple introduced all those colors for iPhones too? It would certainly beat that black and white colors which we have gotten used to. Would you pay more for a differently colored iPhone? What color would you choose?

Dressing up your iPhone can come in different ways. But for the elegant people owning one, this is certain to beat all conceptualization surrounding how you emphasize luxury in this widely popular Apple device.

These items are real luxury objects and are encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The “Apple and Stones” collection includes the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G, the iPod nano 3rd gen and the iPod nano 4th gen. On the other hand, the “Phones and Stones” collection features the LG Prada, LG Prada II and the Nokia 8800 Arte.

The new models are available in steel and gold plated versions, with every single Swarovski stone done by hand.

Taking in consideration that iPod is the number one in the mp3/portable media player market, midbuds decided to create stylish ear buds that are specifically made for the Apple product.

Unlike other ear buds that cost a lot of money, these ones are cheap and have a price tag of $5. The most important aspect isn’t the performance or functionality, but the designs and different styles, which in the end provide a way for iPod owners to express themselves.

In total there are 36 different ear buds, in series of 12, like Yellow Lightining, Blue Lightining, Stars, Pixel Rainbow, Dots, Small Skull, and more.

  • Nokia Aeon Concept Phone

Nokia, please drop whatever you were doing a pay some attention to this cell phone design. It’s not an Apple nano but it’s a Nokia Aeon designed by Mac Funamizu. Since it’s just a concept phone we don’t have any features available. And there’s no price either. All we know it would look and feel like a nano and it would have a nondescript tactile feedback technology with the surface adapting to various actions. That’s a phone right here I’d buy in a heartbeat. But I’ll have to wait for that…

  • The new iPod nano and iPod touch which have been released only three weeks ago and now we have them coming in gold too.

The nano will cost about $644 while the touch will cost $823. And in case you lose it don’t worry about it! You surely can afford to replace it with exactly the same gold model.

Someone clearly didn’t ready the soup recipe for the next generation iPod nano. Therefore Apple manufactured a few, and by a few I mean a small, undisclosed amount, new nanos with only 4GB of memory available. The nano will come only in two sizes officially: 8GB and the 16GB. The 4GB version spotted in Europe is probably the bastard brother that nobody planned for. (more…)

At this point I can say that the only thing new about the new iPod nano were the colors as I have already talked about the headphones separately. (more…)
