Tired of the same default looking stands for your iPhone or iPod Touch? Well here is one straight from Japan. Called the iCooly iPod Touch Stand, this iPod accessory virtually transforms your iPod into a mini iMac. This is a great stand to use, especially if you want to share some videos or want a stylish way to show off your iPod and plant it on a flat surface. No word on when it would be available nor the price but you can be sure it will come out first in Japan and then hopefully internationally.

After the announcement of the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream bedroom music system for the iPod comes another announcement from Logitech: the new Pure-Fi Anywhere music system, another accessory featuring compact speakers in a portable form factor. The Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers come with a rechargeable battery and a helpful battery indicator. Now with an improved traveling case and redesigned remote control, Logitech claims a 10-hour life on a fully charged battery.
When the iPod is connected to the Universal Dock connector, the Pure-Fi Anywhere continues to play music while charging the iPod battery. The new travel case holds the speakers, a power adapter and the remote. There’s also space for an iPod nano, if you like. The power adapter has also undergone a redesign, and fits snugly into the iPod dock.
Measuring 3.6″ x 13.2″ x 1.5″, it weighs in at just 1.6 pounds, but still manages to deliver quality music through the 2-inch Max-X high excursion drivers with neodymium magnets. To minimize distortion, there’s also 3-inch pressure drivers.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere portable speaker system for the iPod will hit the stores in the US and Europe beginning September, and carries a price tag of US $149.99.

Logitech unveiled its latest iPod accessory, the new iPod Bedroom Music System, designed to put you right to sleep. At least we hope so. The new Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod takes on a whole new category of iPod speakers for your bedroom. With new technologies including motion and light sensors, the Pure-Fi Dream is equipped with an integrated AM/FM radio and dual alarm with battery backup.
Not your usual clock radio, the Pure-Fi Dream can easily be controlled even in the dark thanks to backlit control buttons that automatically light up when you wave your hand over the top of the speaker. “But mommy, how can I see the top of the speaker in the dark?” It’s where the sound is coming from, dummy. Once you are done with your changes, the buttons dim automagically. With its 3/4-inch high-definition soft-dome tweeters and 3-inch high power woofers, there’s also Logitech’s StereoXL technology that delivers a wider soundfield for enhanced listening experience.
The snooze button (everyone’s favorite, I assume) takes on an interesting look. There’s no button! You simply wave a hand over the speakers to sleep for a few more precious minutes. Well, I lied about there being no button - there is one tactile button on the top of the system. The display on the system features auto-adjusting brightness, so you can read it in daylight or in the dark without problem. A remote control comes with the Pure-Fi Dream.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream bedroom music system for the iPod will hit the stores this November for US $249.99.
