For the record, The Shack is really meant to carry the new brand or name of Radio Shack. And with the new name looks like a new product and guess what the first device is, the iPhone. It was just a matter of time before a virus would finally make its way to iPhones and apparently first reports of it have now been revealed. Called “Ikee” the said virus changes the iPhone’s background to the picture of 1980’s singer Rick Astley. And it doesn’t stop there. Apparently it looks for other iPhones where the device is networked and spreads its dirty work. It makes use of the pre-installed SSH which is perceived to be unintentionally activated in jailbroken phones. Infection seems to be confined to Australia at the moment, though there are unconfirmed reports of Ikee in Thailand and Japan. There has been no word yet on how to remedy this Ikee virus though it has not been categorized as destructive for now.
