After the Blackberry and the iPhone, a Mobile Spy software version meant for the Android smartphones has finally been released. With the Mobile Spy app, users can now silently track GPS locations, incoming and outgoing text messages and call information of children and employees.

It runs on stealth mode and is untraceable. After the software is set up on the phone, it silently records GPS locations at a rate decided by the owner of the phone. The entire text of all SMS text messages, along with the associated phone number, is also recorded. The Mobile Spy app is another software from Retina-X-Studios LLC and can be checked out here.

Apple’s App Store has established yet another record. We’ve seen the store reach one billion downloads followed quickly by the two million mark. And now the App Store has reached another remarkable number. See, I told you that jailbreaking your handset could bring on a series of unwanted events your way. It looks like a security vulnerability has been exposed by a Dutch hacker. The hacker gained access to various jailbroken phones and then he sent picture messages demanding a €5 PayPal payment:

If you don’t pay, it’s fine by me, but remember, the way I got access to your iPhone can be used by thousands of others-they can send text messages from your number (like I did), use it to call or record your calls, and actually whatever they want, even use it for their hacking activities! I can assure you, I have no intention of harming you or whatever, but, some hackers do! It’s just my advice to secure your phone.

Luckily enough he did reveal the fix for the problem and it comes free of charge. Did you have any problems with your jailbroken iPhone?

  • It’s no secret that the iPhone doesn’t support Flash and most likely won’t until Apple decides to lift the restriction. However, some people evidently have been thinking it was Adobe’s fault that there is no Flash on the iPhone, as you can see from the above picture.

Of course, Adobe isn’t exactly getting angry at Apple but they are telling consumers exactly what they need to know; Flash won’t be on the iPhone until Apple says it can.
